My name is Hannah Byatt and I am a surface pattern designer and illustrator based in the UK. I have experience as a freelance textile designer and in-house graphic designer, creating seamless repeat and placement prints for a variety of clients within the fashion industry. I also have experience as a creative artworker which entails preparing artwork ready for print, this involves a diverse range of creative thinking and problem-solving. Throughout my experience, I have learnt to work well under pressure to tight deadlines within multiple projects at one time on a daily basis.
I have been creating art for as long as I can remember, it wasn’t until my college days that I found my love for print & pattern. As a designer, I am dedicated, determined and passionate with a strong work ethic.
I have over 12 years of experience using Adobe Photoshop, plus more recently Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Fresco on a range of Apple products. Using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite I have learnt to create seamless pattern designs, illustrations, sketches, design motifs, photo editing, product mock-ups, product templates and amending artwork.
Whilst I have a background in fashion, I am interested in working in various markets including home furnishings & decor, stationary and greetings. I relish a challenge.
When I am not creating art I am walking, baking, reading or practicing yoga.
